The handle, hinges and latches all work as they should. All reasonable offers considered. Please ask any questions before purchase. Our store has been in continuous business in Indianapolis, IN, USA since 1948. The pads in this horn are quite old, and we recommend a full repad to put this sax in good playable condition. We have it in a Yamaha YAS-23 case which is obviously not original to the instrument, but it's in good condition. The rest of the instrument looks like it will polish up nicely. These could all be removed and replated if desired. The silver plating on the body looks good, but there is some playing loss on some of the keys, most notably the neck octave key, the palm keys, the G# and low B platters, and in the side F#/low Eb/low D area of the horn. There is one tiny dent on the neck, but otherwise this sax is dent-free, and we see no signs of any significant previous damage or repair. All the keys work well and there are no signs of any mechanical problems. Due to the changes that Ebay has made in how we're able to accept payments, other methods may require a delay in shipping in order to allow time for payment to clear**This Buescher silver plated alto saxophone was made in 1929 according to its serial number (#245XXX) and it's in good structural condition. **PayPal is recommended for quicker shipments.
